Tessa Zompanis
Style is warm, encouraging, and empowering collaborating with clients while tailoring her approach to each person’s unique set of needs. Together with her clients she will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that may involve medications, psychotherapy or both. She firmly believes that while difficult circumstances present a challenge, it is never too late to choose to move forward and make changes that can result in an improved quality of life and profound personal growth. Tessa practices a client centered, humanist approach focusing on the whole individual. By providing treatment that is interactive and direct where she works together with her patients and other health professionals, from comprehensive diagnostic evaluation to cooperative treatment planning, tessa finds patients are able to move beyond just symptom management and achieve enjoyment and full engagement with their life.
Mariya Shavausky
Eearned her master's degree in psychiatric nursing from the City University of New York, Hunter College. Before that, she completed a bachelor's degree at the New York City College of Technology. Her practice philosophy is to provide holistic and evidence-based care that is respectful of the concerns, values, and aspirations of her patients. Ms. Shavulskiy is bilingual and speaks in English and Russian. She is extremely passionate about her work and receives satisfaction from the fact that her patients feel comfortable and confident when they come to visit her
